The Configuration and Financial Analyst will support a US Navy shipbuilding program office in Pascagoula MS by tracking ship configuration changes and their financial impacts for Navy ships. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.This candidate provides support for Serco Configuration Management at Supervisor of Shipbuilding Gulf Coast (SSGC), DDG 51 Class Program. Responsible for providing support to SSGC Code 150, in addition to tracking accurate and timely financial information, on a timely basis. Process and analyze configuration changes to highlight impacts to the baseline for each hull. Participates in design reviews, audits, schedules, budgets, and maintains relevant documentation. Identifies requirements and coordinates the development, implementation, and maintenance of configuration management systems. Collects and researches data; utilizing experience to complement data in drawing valid conclusions. Provides analysis of proposed design changes to determine the effect on the overall system. Acts as liaison between functional groups. Processes configuration change documents and records information to manage configuration items effectively, including the status of proposed, implemented, and approved changes. Recommends methods of improvement. This candidate is responsible for the following entries into the Finance Database: Create Lines of Accounting in System Each Value Level through Process (ICP/ROM, Proposed, Negotiated, Unsigned MOD, Signed MOD) Unfunded Contract Mods (UCO) Change Orders Track IDIQ (2-Kilo and Support Requests) Special Studies Fast Track Items CSE and PDA Items This candidate is responsible for Exports, weekly via the use of Access database, to support Top Level Summary and other reports. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have: A Bachelor's degree. Additional relevant experience can be considered to offset degree requirements. A current or active Secret Clearance. 4 plus years’ relevant experience working in configuration management. Preference given to those whose experience is supporting Navy shipbuilding or other ACAT 1 programs Experience in change management processes, maintaining baselines for RFP award, and post baseline change incorporation. Familiarity with CDRL reviews, change package development and pricing. Expertise with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other office tools Knowledge of engineering analysis techniques. 10% travel required.
