Scheduler/Planner
Job Summary: Schedule machine operations; oversee and coordinate all production activity with sales, sales service, and shipping to ensure that orders are being handled properly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities GFSI food packaging safety program.
Other duties as assigned by any member of management.
Schedule equipment to maximize efficiency.
Coordinate all production activity with sales, sales service and shipping to ensure customers’ orders are being handled properly.
Conduct scheduling meetings with various staff members to explain shipping deadlines, existing and/or new orders, and any outstanding issues or problems.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Roll stock management
Additional duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience:
Excellent computer, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work with little direction and adapt to change.
Tenacity
Structured, analytical approach to work.
Work Environment:
Regular work near moving mechanical parts.
Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and temperature variations
Noise level is moderate to high.
Bump caps, ear protection, eye protection, and safety shoes are required.
