Sitter or Companion Job Summary: Everyday Allies Home Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Sitters or Companions to join our team in Monroe, NC. As a Sitter or Companion, you will play a vital role in providing support and companionship to our valued clients in their homes, while helping them maintain their independence and well-being. Responsibilities: Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, including conversation, games, and activities Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping Monitor and report any changes in client condition or needs to our care staff Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet client needs and preferences Requirements: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required Experience: 6 months of experience in care giving or a related field Certifications/Licenses: None required, but PCA or other relevant certifications a plus Work Environment: Part-time schedule with flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends Work in clients' homes, typically with 1-2 clients at a time Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods Rewards: Compensation: up to $15 per hour, depending on experience Job Security: Opportunities to work with a stable and growing company How to Apply: If you are a caring and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding Sitter or Companion role.
