Senior Manufacturing Engineer
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the oversight of the development and improvement of processes and products to enable manufacturing to consistently produce product at an acceptable quality level from the design phase through the completion phase. Reports to Engineering Manager.PRIMARY DUTIES:Oversight of the development and implementation of new and improvement of existing processes and equipment for the manufacturing process.Design and/or improve fixturing for manufacturing.Coordinate engineering support for the process technicians, Tool & Die makers and Maintenance on special projects as needed.Develop and submit research packages for process and equipment improvements, submitting for Capital Plan.Work with other engineering team members to ensure capital projects are transferred to manufacturing in a timely fashion. This will include the writing of SOP’s, training documentation, specifications and coordinating training for both the technician group but manufacturing associates as well.Implement training program for all manufacturing associates.Assist in New Design & existing product development, ensuring all time lines are met.Develop and implement effective processes for current and new product designs, ensuring to issue required new specifications & SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to manufacturing.Supervision of manufacturing engineers.Associate will be required to travel from time to time.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required.Eight to ten years’ experience required.Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) required. Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.**This is a salaried exempt, full on-site position located in Bradford, PA**
