About the jobTitle: Electro-Mechanical Test TechnicianLocation: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months)Status: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleJoin a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment focused on electronics testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and product validation. This role involves working with advanced diagnostic equipment to support production, quality, and engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical experience with electronic assemblies, schematics, and test equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret and work from schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documentationPerform testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical assembliesOperate and utilize electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other diagnostic toolsSet up, configure, and maintain test stations and experimental equipment for product evaluationExecute calibration, alignment, validation, and functional testing activitiesIdentify faulty components and perform corrective repairs or part replacements as neededSupport soldering, rework, and assembly activities in a manufacturing/test environmentConduct product testing and document technical findings, results, and observationsAnalyze test data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standardsAssist in developing and maintaining test procedures, work instructions, and data recordsPartner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support new product introduction and production transitionsProvide technical assistance and knowledge-sharing support to technicians and team membersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and process optimizationQualificationsAssociate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferredEquivalent combination of technical education, training, and hands-on experience will also be considered3–5 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or calibration within a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies and componentsAbility to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationExperience working with electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools preferredCompensationEstimated hourly range: $32–$35/hr (W-2)Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PMWork Location: 100% Onsite – Boca Raton, FLContract Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
