This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, hands-on supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex planning and procurement challenges.If you’re highly analytical, Excel-savvy, and passionate about keeping operations running efficiently, this role offers the chance to make a major impact across purchasing, planning, supplier management, and inventory optimization.What You’ll Be DoingAs the Senior Buyer/Planner, you’ll play a critical role in supporting production and supply chain operations by ensuring materials, components, and products are available when needed while maintaining efficient inventory levels.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract forecasts and support production planning initiativesDevelop and maintain supply plans and purchasing strategiesManage purchase order placement, confirmations, and supplier follow-upMonitor inventory levels, safety stock, shortages, and backordersEvaluate supplier quotes and negotiate delivery timelinesTrack and expedite overdue purchase ordersPartner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teamsBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication and touchpoint meetingsAnalyze data and reporting to improve planning accuracy and inventory performanceSupport spare parts planning, new product introductions, and obsolescence projectsManage material shortages and communicate recovery timelinesAssist with operational projects and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We’re Looking For8+ years of Buyer/Planner experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPsExperience managing planning and purchasing activities through spreadsheet analysisExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to prioritize and adapt in a fast-moving environmentProfessional, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approachStrong organizational skills and attention to detail Why This Opportunity Stands OutCompetitive salary: $70,000–$95,000High-impact role with visibility across multiple departmentsCollaborative and innovative team environmentOpportunity to contribute to operational excellence and process improvementsStable full-time, onsite opportunity with career growth potentialInterviews are happening NOW - Send resumes to: CHRC511@KELLYSERVICES.COM
