Position JobThe Human Resources Associate serves as the central coordinator of HR operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent execution of core HR processes. This role supports all areas of HR—including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and Organizational Development—by managing day-to-day HR processes, maintaining data integrity, and delivering responsive employee support. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.This role keeps our HR processes running smoothly so employees have a great experience, and HR leaders can focus on bigger priorities.Key Responsibilities HR Operations & HRIS ManagementMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HRIS (Dayforce), including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent and seamless experience.Audit HRIS data and transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.Support job and position management, including creation and updates in HR systems.Provide Dayforce system support (password resets, timekeeping support, troubleshooting, etc.). Employee Experience & Front-Line SupportServe as a primary point of contact for employees, managers, and external parties for HR-related inquiries.Respond to requests in a timely, professional manner and escalate issues as appropriate.Manage employment verifications within established service-level expectations.Support new hire orientation and benefits orientation sessions.Prepare and distribute company-wide announcements (new hires, promotions, terminations). Compliance & Records ManagementMaintain confidential employee records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.Administer I-9 and E-Verify processes to ensure compliance with federal regulations.Support unemployment claims by completing discharge questionnaires accurately and timely.Assist with EEO/AA and VETS reporting and documentation.Ensure required labor law postings and HR compliance materials are current and properly displayed. Site & Administrative Coordination (Milwaukee)Manage employee badge access and ID system for Milwaukee facilities.Coordinate employee uniform ordering and distribution.Maintain HR-related physical and digital resources, including bulletin boards, forms, and policies.Manage HR-related supplies, mailroom coordination, and employee-facing materials. HR Programs & Team SupportSupport HR initiatives such as wellness programs, service awards, and employee events.Maintain service award tracking and assist with recognition programs.Maintain organizational charts and HR documentation.Provide administrative and logistical support for HR projects and cross-functional initiatives.Success in this role will requireHigh accuracy of HRIS data and employee records.Timely completion of onboarding, offboarding, and employee transactions.Responsiveness to employee and manager inquiries.Compliance with regulatory and internal HR requirements.Reduction in administrative backlog and improved process efficiency.Positive feedback from employees and HR team members on support and service.What You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.1+ years of experience in an HR, administrative, or customer service role preferred.Experience working with HRIS platforms (Dayforce strongly preferred).Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices (FLSA, EEO, etc.).Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and insurance.Core CompetenciesAttention to Detail & Accuracy – Maintains high standards for data integrity and documentation.Execution & Follow-Through – Delivers timely, high-quality work with minimal supervision.Customer Service Orientation – Provides responsive, professional support to employees and managers.Confidentiality & Judgment – Handles sensitive information with discretion and integrity.Systems & Process Discipline – Follows and improves standardized processes for efficiency and consistency.Collaboration – Works effectively across HR and with cross-functional partners.Physical RequirementsWork is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Requires frequent use of standard office equipment, including a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, copier, and printer. Requires the ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication. Requires frequent movement throughout the office to attend meetings, access files, and use office equipment. May occasionally be required to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 20 pounds. Requires compliance with all safety procedures and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas. Career DevelopmentThis role is designed as an entry-level professional HR position with a defined development path toward roles such as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
