Position Type: Intermediate School Teaching/Special Education Date Posted: 5/15/2026 Location: Travis Intermedidate Read 180 Special Education Teacher Greenville Independent School District Work Schedule: 187 Days Reports to: Campus Principal and Director of Special Education Position Overview Greenville ISD is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Read 180 Special Education Teacher to provide specialized reading instruction and intervention for students receiving special education services. This position supports students with reading difficulties through evidence-based instructional practices designed to improve literacy skills, academic performance, and student confidence. Primary Purpose Provide specialized reading instruction and intervention using the Read 180 program for students receiving special education services in accordance with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), district curriculum, and student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
