The good news is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed on the job. But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go:You value guest experiences and take pride in everything you doYou've got attitude (the right kind, of course)Communication is key - you should be comfortable talking with strangersYou understand that work is easier - and more fun - with teamworkExperience working in a high-volume restaurant/bar is idealWhat you'll be doing:Taking reservations for guestsOpening the door for every guest, greeting and seating guestsMaintaining the reservation book throughout the shiftBe the proud host of a memorable experience and guide guests on how to enjoy Punch Bowl SocialWorking alongside a team to provide a high level of hospitalityKnow the Punch Bowl Social brand so you can answer guest questions regarding food/beverage or other inquiriesCleaning and sanitizing lobby area and front doors every 30 minutesAnswering phones, and taking any take-out orders receivedPaid sick leave is limited to 40 hours (5 days) for the year and maximum is 80 hours (10 days).Punch Bowl Social will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the San Diego County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
