Infrastructure Engineer

We're hiring a System Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to join a world-class scientific computing organization supporting one of the world's largest supercomputing environments. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building, integrating, and supporting large-scale Linux and Kubernetes infrastructure rather than traditional application development.What You'll DoBuild, deploy, and support Linux-based infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.Integrate infrastructure components, backend services, and platform APIs.Automate system administration using Python and Shell scripting.Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, storage, and platform issues.Deploy and maintain on-prem Kubernetes clusters using Helm and modern CI/CD practices.Work with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.Support virtualization technologies including VMware (Proxmox experience is a plus).Collaborate on large-scale infrastructure supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.Required SkillsStrong Linux System Administration experience.Kubernetes platform deployment and administration (on-prem preferred).Python and/or Shell scripting for automation.Infrastructure or Platform Engineering background.Experience with Docker, Helm, Git, GitLab/GitHub, and CI/CD.Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, networking, storage, and distributed systems.Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Kibana.VMware or other virtualization technologies.Nice to HaveHigh Performance Computing (HPC) environments.InfiniBand networking.Batch computing systems.Identity & Access Management (IAM).Go (Golang) experience.Proxmox virtualization.
