Forward Deployed Engineer

Venture backed defense tech firm, in the threat detection software space, is looking to bring on several Forward Deployed Engineers to work on-site in Washington, DC. They are looking for engineers with experience in either full-stack development, infrastructure engineering, or AI/ML. Based off your background, they will slot you into a role that will set you and their customers up for success. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a fast growing startup, alongside topnotch engineering talent, that's driving innovation and redefining the industry.Preferred:- Strong experience with Full stack development in Python or Typescript- Experience implementing and scaling Kubernetes for customers environments- Previous experience in a client/customer- facing position collaborating with field engineers and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into deliverable solutions- BS in Computer Science or related degree- Ability to obtain US Security clearanceDesired:- Experienced with distributed AWS services: ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, CloudMap, etc.- Background working for Applied AI Startup- Background delivering AI/ML solutions and deploying into production (RAG, LLM's, Langchain, etc)- Active Secret clearance or abovePackage:-Up to 220k base salary-Substantial Equity-Competitive Healthcare options-Robust PTO-Many more
