Job Title: Traveling Civil Foreman Location: West Texas (Projects across Sweetwater, Abilene, Childress, Amarillo) Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 Per Diem ($125 – $165/day) Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site About the Role We are seeking an experienced Traveling Civil Foreman to support large-scale data center and commercial construction projects across West Texas, with priority needs in Sweetwater, Amarillo, and Abilene. These are long-term assignments (2 years), with travel rotation varying by project. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, leads by example, and has strong experience managing crews in civil construction operations including grading and underground utilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily field operations for civil scopes on active job sites Direct crews in grading, excavation, trenching, and underground utility installation Work closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to execute project plans Ensure crews are meeting productivity goals and project schedules Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and site plans Assist with GPS layout and machine control operations Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower on-site Monitor quality of work and ensure it meets project specifications Report daily progress, issues, and manpower updates to site leadership Requirements 3–5 years of experience in civil construction with leadership or foreman responsibilities Strong background in grading, excavation, and underground utilities Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects (data center experience a plus) Ability to lead crews and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of construction drawings and site layout OSHA 30 certification preferred (OSHA 10 required at minimum) Willingness and ability to travel across project sites (Sweetwater, Abilene, Childress, Amarillo) Flexibility to adapt to changing travel rotations Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 Per Diem: $125 – $165 per day Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Long-term project pipeline (2 year assignments) Opportunity for advancement into Superintendent roles
