IT Administrator
The IT Administrator will handle the day-to-day configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of all information technology at Realized as well as create policies and offer recommendations for improvement. It is a position of high trust requiring administrative access to some of the most sensitive IT systems in the company.
Essential Functions
Administers, maintains and supports the Realized Office365 account along with all associated productivity systems: email, calendar, contacts, shared folders, and backups.
Primary point of contact for IT at Realized. Provides internal helpdesk functions to staff and provides hands-on assistance for various technology and IT projects.
Manages network operations and responsible for local IT vendor, contract and outsourcing management
Manages and maintains software and hardware, including telephony and cloud-based products used by the business
Ensures computer equipment, hardware and software are updated to meet organizational needs.
Recommend, presents, and implements technological alternatives to streamline functions and improve productivity including new hardware, software, networking components or services.
Works with the Operations team on technology selection and configuration for the Realized office and virtual work environment.
Ensures technology documents/certificates such as product registrations, SSL certificates, maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. related to technology operations and/or technology service are evaluated, updated, and processed
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and goals that support the organization’s IT needs
Create and maintain systems administration standard operating procedures.
Develop policies and procedures consistent with SOC2 compliance and works with third-party consultants on SOC2 compliance review
Ensure proper functioning of the information processing system and oversees necessary upgrades
Analyze technology requirements and develop functional specifications. Conducts comparative analysis and competitive bidding when necessary
Prepares monthly scorecard reports to track progress.
Ensures compliance with all software licensing agreements. Manages and safeguards software media and associated licenses; Tracks software versions and maintains centralized software use log
Ensures for the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization
Ensure the rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services
Prepares, maintains and tests a technology disaster recovery plan
Provide Escalation Status Notification on Service Impacting Events
Maintains knowledge on current technology by reading technology books, evaluating new technologies and attending relevant seminars and training sessions
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in information systems from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of certification and experience
2 to 4 years of experience in Office365 administration, including Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory and Security Centers
Knowledge of SOC compliance framework and requirements
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software
Knowledge of current technology trends, such as current infrastructure technologies, protocols and standards
Experience in disaster recovery and backup
Preferred Education and Experience
Knowledge of computer networks, network administration and network installation.
Database management skills with ability to produce reports
Prior experience managing enterprise CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot)
