CLOUD SECURITY EXPERT

Overview In this role you will strengthen cloud security across security, incident responses, risk, and product security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical security challenges and evangelize security practices enterprise-wide. You will research emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve security posture. This position offers an opportunity to influence security strategy and protect healthcare-focused environments. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with security platforms, incident response, risk/compliance and product security teams to address critical cloud security problemsResearch new technologies and keep abreast of evolving security risks to inform enhancementsEvangelize security across the enterprise and drive changes in response to emerging threatsSupport secure cloud implementations and overall security program improvements Key requirements10+ years of experience in network and system securityStrong background in Linux and WindowsExperience with IDS, Web Application Firewalls, host-based intrusion systemsExperience with SIEM tools and security analyticsExperience with vulnerability scanning and pentestingExperience with Data Leakage Prevention technologiesKnowledge of network and internet architectureKnowledge of OWASP Top 10 and web app/network pentestingProficiency in PHP, Bash, Python, Perl or other scripting languagesKnowledge of AWS and cloud environmentsExcellent interpersonal skills (teamwork, facilitation, negotiation)Ability to understand long-term and short-term perspectivesMaster's degree in computer science or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experienceMobile security knowledge a plusCloud security experience a plusteamworkfacilitationnegotiationLinux/Windows securityIDS/WAF/host-based IPSSIEM and security analytics
