Sr. Software Engineer (C, C++, Linux)

Job Description What You’ll Do Design and developembedded softwarethat controls system behavior in advanced imaging and security platforms Build software that interfaces directly withhardware, controllers, and electromechanical subsystems Develop and optimizereal-time, multi-threaded applicationsin Linux environments Troubleshoot and resolvesoftware/hardware integration issuesacross lab, manufacturing, and field settings Partner withelectrical, mechanical, systems, and test engineersto define interfaces and validate system performance Contribute tosoftware architecture, requirements, testing strategies, and technical documentation Supportsystem integration, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis Drive improvements insoftware quality, reliability, and development practices What You Bring Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Preferred), Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 7+ years of experiencein embedded or systems-level software development Strong expertise inC/C++ developmentwithinLinux environments Experience working withsoftware that interfaces directly with hardware or control systems Solid understanding ofreal-time systems, multi-threading, and low-level software design Proven ability to debug complexsoftware-hardware integration challenges Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines Nice to Have: Experience withembedded Linux, RTOS, or similar platforms Familiarity with debugging tools such asGDB, Valgrind, or Cppcheck Experience withscripting (Python, Bash, Perl) Knowledge ofdevice drivers, communication protocols, or hardware interfaces Exposure tocontrol systems, sensors, motors, or industrial equipment Experience inregulated or high-reliability environments(medical, aerospace, security, etc.) Background inimaging systems or aviation/security technologies Why Analogic Work onmission-critical systemsdeployed globally Be part of acollaborative R&D environmentwith deep technical expertise Influence products fromconcept through deployment Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities Join Us If you’re passionate about building software that directly controls real-world systems—and want to see your work deployed in high-impact environments—we’d love to hear from you.
