Minimum Requirements: Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).BLS Certification.Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/ Surg Tech in a hospital surgical environment.Experience working with sterile processing, instrument sets, and perioperative aseptic technique.Demonstrated competency in prepping operating rooms, passing instruments, and handling specimens during procedures.Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation for operative reports preferred.Candidates must meet hospital credentialing and privileging requirements for surgical technologists in Pennsylvania.
