Our goal is to keep on building exceptional and iconic F&B experiences around wherever we are as our journey continues.ResponsibilitiesAssist with both the organization and execution of Markeat's back of house staff and product operations, as well as with financial reporting, cost management, and analysis to support the profitability objectives of the leadership teamPartner with other leadership members and Human Resources on the management of the BOH team: hire, train, motivate, schedule, submit payroll, evaluate, and terminate as necessaryReceive and place orders for food and beverage for all restaurants; prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and prices; obtain recommendations from suppliers for substitute itemsReview invoices and deliveries, ensuring they are correct and on timeAssist in inventory processing and managementPerform consistent COGS reporting to ensure proper cost allocation and purchasing levelsDesign and execute cost-containment strategies, particularly regarding recipe costing, menu pricing, and labor monitoring to maximize business efficiencyOrganize and supervise the employee shiftsParticipate in management and personnel meetingsMaintain high standards of quality control, service, hygiene, and health & safetyAllocate 2 hours per week to planningReview labor report for opportunity to improve productivityFocus on systematically and effectively communicating all restaurant related goals and success factors to leadership and team membersQualificationsProficient in Google Suite, MS Office, Task management software, and Restaurant Management SoftwareBachelor's Degree preferred but not requiredMinimum of three (3) years progressive experience in Food & Beverage managementFlexibility to take direction and innovation with the teamProjects warmth, enthusiasm, honesty, and optimism that attracts and energizes othersExcellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, communication, and customer relationship skillsUnderstanding of basic retail P&L principles, including the specific levers that drive sales and profitabilityAbility to work extended periods of time on your feet and be able to lift 50 lbsValid CA Food Manager certificateAvailable to work on weekendsMust be eligible to work in the U.S.Embody our core qualities of friendliness, delight and promptnessThe desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentComfortable providing and receiving feedback to achieve goalsBenefitsCompetitive WagesPaid VacationsMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Silver Base Plan)401(k) Matching up to 5%All Major Holidays ObservedEmployee Meals providedFlexible Schedule for Restaurant positionsCareer Growth Opportunity within Hospitality Industry*Based on eligibility$65,000 - $72,000 per year
