1st Grade ELA Summer Curriculum Work

To qualify in summer curriculum work, you must currently teach monolingual 1st Grade ELA. This work will take no more than 10 hours and must be completed between June 1 - June 30, 2026. During this time, you will be expected to: attend and actively participate in all required check-ins, as needed. track your hours in Red Rover. provide status updates as requested. promptly respond to communications from supervisors and teammates. respond to feedback given on your work. complete to-do products and upload them to the appropriate location. Below are the items that must be completed within the 10 hours Review and adjust Unit 0 as needed (updated Reading Horizons lessons, etc) Develop a list of connected mentor texts per unit Develop a recommendation for essential lessons and readings per unit Per Unit of Writing: Determine any additional mentor texts that align with unit topic and would support content-based writing Develop writing prompts per week Outline the writing instructional process for the unit Ensure assessment prompt and instruction prompts align Write a sample assessment response per proficiency level of the rubric Create additional writing activities as time allows
