Job Description Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer (Aerospace Machine Shop)Location: Gardena, CACompany: RJ EnterprisesJob Type: Full-TimePay: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour (DOE)Position OverviewRJ Enterprises is an aerospace machine shop seeking a hands-on Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer to own inspection activities from raw material through final inspection. This role is not a visual or paperwork-only QC position. The ideal candidate is comfortable on the shop floor, proficient with CMM inspection, and experienced with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and customer interaction.You will be responsible for ensuring machined parts meet customer drawing requirements, GD&T specifications, and aerospace quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of aerospace machined partsSet up, run, and program CMM inspections (MCOSMOS experience strongly preferred)Inspect parts using precision tools including micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators, gage blocks, thread gages, and optical comparatorsInterpret engineering drawings and GD&T (true position, profile, datums, MMC/LMC, etc.)Complete and maintain AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (Forms 1–3)Create and document inspection plans and step-by-step inspection methods for specific jobsGenerate and manage NCRs / nonconformance reports and support root cause investigationsInterface with customers, auditors, and internal teams regarding inspection results and quality issuesWork closely with production and quality leadership to resolve out-of-tolerance conditionsRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of hands-on Quality Control inspection experience in a machine shop or aerospace manufacturing environmentCMM operation required; CMM programming experience strongly preferredExperience with FAIRs (AS9102)Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TProficient with precision measuring instrumentsExperience inspecting a variety of materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, plastics, brass, etc.)Strong attention to detail and documentation skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced shop environmentMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred (Strong Plus)MCOSMOS CMM software experiencePrior aerospace customer interaction and audit supportGD&T certification or formal trainingBackground as a machinist or CMM programmerWhat This Role Is NotNot a visual-only inspector roleNot a QA paperwork or document-control positionNot a food, cosmetic, or medical QA roleBenefitsRJ Enterprises offers:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceHealth and dental insurancePaid vacationStable, long-term employment in an aerospace manufacturing environmentTo Apply:Please submit a resume that clearly lists CMM software used, inspection experience, and FAIR experience.
