Diesel Mechanic/Technician

The Diesel Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of medium to heavy-duty diesel engine diagnosis and repairs. Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $36-$43 per hour, depending on experience. *** Potential Sign on Bonus, up to $2,500 *** Shift: Thursday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (4x10's) What’s in it for you? What the Diesel Mechanic/Technician role looks like: Interact with clients in-person, email and phone as necessary Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to vehicles Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation What our ideal candidate looks like: At least 3 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance or strong experience with medium-duty BIT & DOT Inspections and repairs or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school. Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills Must have a valid driver's license Working Conditions: Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job. Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
