Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified *Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)* to join our *school-based speech therapy team in Spanaway, WA*. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide speech, language, and communication services to students in a school setting and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other professionals to support student success.

Responsibilities
* Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
* Identify students' speech, language, communication, and related needs.
* Develop and implement individualized *speech therapy* treatment plans.
* Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy.
* Support students with articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs.
* Develop and monitor appropriate *IEP goals* and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
* Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
* Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, school administrators, families, and other members of the educational team.
* Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support students' communication skills.
* Educate parents, caregivers, teachers, and school staff regarding speech and language development and intervention strategies.
* Maintain compliance with school district policies and applicable confidentiality requirements.
* Provide services in accordance with professional standards and student IEP requirements.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in *Speech-Language Pathology* from an accredited program.
* Active *Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license/credential*, as required for the position.
* *ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)* preferred/required as applicable.
* Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
* Previous *school-based SLP* or pediatric speech therapy experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of speech and language development and communication disorders.
* Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
