Full Stack JavaScript / TS Developer

JD- Full Stack JavaScript / TS Developer Location : Los Alamos, New Mexico (ONSITE) SCOPE (U.S. Citizens preferred) What You Will Do An experienced Full Stack JavaScript / TS software developer to join our team in support of large-scale project management system which affects the lab’s core mission where you will develop and maintain an application that has impact across the entire laboratory. The division drives Client innovation as an essential part of our national security mission through connections between research, corporate and entrepreneurial communities. Our objective as SAE is to deliver reliable, secure, and cost-effective software and applications that meet business and operational needs in support of the Client mission. You will work on supporting and developing a large-scale project management system which affects the lab’s core mission. You must have extensive experience with the MERN stack, demonstrate knowledge of development tools and processes as well as the ability to architect state-of-the-art web solutions. Multi-tasking, excellent organizational, and communication skills are a must in this position, as well as experience with mentoring junior developers and non-technical team members. Minimum Job Requirements: Extensive experience with React, REDUX ExpressJS, NestJS Document based database design experience with MongoDB Strong NoSQL experience on both MongoDB, SQL experience a plus Optimization experience Experience with Microsoft Teams, Jira, and GitLab Experience with Docker Familiarity with CLI and scripting, specifically Bash or Bash Proficiency in using Front end web technologies using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON Experience with software documentation and secure coding practices Problem Solving Solving unique Web development and production problems by using analytic ability and innovative thinking to meet budget, timetables, and objectives. Experience and demonstrated skill in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions to problems. Education/Experience: Position typically requires a relevant bachelor's degree and a minimum of twelve years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
