OverviewDavis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a client program coordinator through the firm's alternative-track contract attorney and staffing program, DWTSurge. The selected client program coordinator will work with the firm's Litigation practice to support arbitration matters for the firm's institutional clients. The selected client program coordinator may work remotely but should be prepared to support West Coast business hours. ResponsibilitiesThe selected client program coordinator will support DWT attorneys, paralegals, and client program teams by assisting with matter management, contributing to process flow organization, and serving as a liaison to the client. Other tasks include running conflict checks, maintaining knowledge management resources, and inputting and tracking deadlines and deliverables. The selected client program coordinator will be expected to demonstrate close attention to detail, sound judgement, strong technical, administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills while prioritizing and managing multiple assignments. This position may require the selected candidate to record billable time for client matters as directed by supervising attorneys and staff. Work Arrangement and TermsThis contract position offers the flexibility of remote work and full‐time hours; 37.5 hours per week is generally anticipated. The amount of work may vary from week to week and a minimum number of hours of work per week is not guaranteed. While work will be performed remotely, candidates must be willing to accommodate a West Coast business schedule. The initial engagement will be for a six‐month term, but there is a strong potential for renewal for successful candidates, although any renewals are not guaranteed. Qualifications2+ years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm environment and/or supporting technology clients. Residency in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, MD, MN, MT, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA*, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WDC, or WV. (*jurisdiction‐specific) Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and sensitivity to confidential materials. Ability to work in a team‐oriented, fast‐paced, service‐focused environment and to handle stressful situations in a calm, composed manner. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, demonstrating exceptional responsiveness and client service. Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem‐solving skills to balance competing time‐sensitive priorities. Interest in technology in the workplace and technology companies. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and OneNote. Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, HighQ, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft SharePoint preferred. Excellent grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills. Availability to work remotely, an average of 37.5 hours/week, and support PST business hours. Flexibility for hours to potentially fluctuate from week to week. Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range Hourly rate for this position in CA, MD, MN, NY, OR, WA, and WDC is $28 to $33 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job‐related factors permitted by law.
