Material Handler- 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am)

Overall Summary:The Material Handler efficiently delivers materials and supplies using pallet jacks, high lifts, and power jacks.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:* Utilize automated inventory system to locate materials and supplies.* Document material transactions in the system; complete the material handling section of paperwork for warehouse returns* Move processed material from workstations to the appropriate staging area.* Ensure the accurate repackaging of leftover materials.* Maintain a clean and safe work area; report any safety hazards immediately.* Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:* Ability to read and write English; understand oral and written communications and follow directions.* Ability to safely operate power equipment.* Good mathematical skills.* Team oriented.* Detail orientated.Education and Experience:* High School Diploma/GED preferred, or commensurate experience relating to the job required.* Computer and scanner experience.* Previous experience using floor jacks, pallet jacks, high lifts, and/or power jacks preferred.* Previous participation on a safety team and/or other safety training a plus.Physical Requirements:* Ability to work 8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday.* Ability to work overtime when needed.* Standard and non-climate-controlled production environment; exposure to loud noise (PPE is provided).* Ability to lift, carry and push/pull up to 35 pounds; occasionally up to 65 pounds.* Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pivot, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for up to 8 hours.* Upper extremity motion requirements: fine motor movements, pushing/pulling with arms, grasping and pinching.* Lower extremity motion requirements: reaching.
