Please email Chris McQuade (cmcquade@emersonschools.org) with resume.General HousekeepingSweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing and sealing floors, stairs, and steps;washing, polishing, and dusting furniture and equipment, doors and frames, window frames and sills, window shades and blinds, chalkboard frames and trays, bookshelves, built-in cabinets, desks, tables, etc.;cleaning glass in windows, doors, cases, clocks, pictures, mirrors, etc.;cleaning chalkboards and erasers;cleaning plumbing fixtures of various types, such as sinks, drinking fountains, toilet stools, urinals, lavatories;brushing, dusting and washing walls, partitions and ceilings;washing, polishing and dusting lockers;removing spots or writing from walls and furniture;disposing of rubbish;cleaning custodial tools and equipment; andcaring for a variety of other similar types of cleaning jobs Grounds Caresweeping sidewalks, driveways and hard-surfaced parking areas;shoveling snow from above areas;cutting grass;raking lawns;picking up paper and other rubbish;weeding;sprinkling lawns; andleveling grounds. Minor Repairstightening screws and nuts;touch-up painting and varnishing;adjusting window shades and blinds;planning or sanding surfaces that are rough, splintered, or tend to cause binding of doors, drawers, etc.;securing loose or projecting nails;adjusting furniture and equipment;cleaning clogged toilet stools and sanitary traps;replacing small broken panes of glass that do not require the use of a ladderadjusting door closers;replacing burned out lamps and fuses;replacing faucet washers. Mechanical Servicesoperating heating plant and ventilating system; lubricating and cleaning motors, pumps, fans, and other mechanical equipment;cleaning toilets; andadjusting valves and steam traps.
