Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are mostly a newer-fleet maintenance shop. Looking for someone with hands-on experience diagnosing engine, ABS, & aftertreatment issues. Need someone reliable, and with the right experience to diagnose issues efficiently. We primarly service Freighliners, International LT, Volvo and sometimes Peterbilt and Kenworth.Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain various diesel engines, transmissions, and related componentsPerform inspections, preventative maintenance, and complete repair orders with accuracyUtilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issuesWork independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and high-quality repairsMaintain a clean and safe work environment following company and industry standardsRequired Experience & Skills:Minimum 2 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experienceStrong knowledge of diesel engine and transmission systemsProficiency with major diagnostic software, including:DiagnosticLinkCummins INSITEVolvo/Mack Tech ToolDAF DAVIEOther heavy-duty chassis and OEM diagnostic programsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructionsStrong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitudeValid driver's license (CDL is a plus but not required)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with electrical systems and after-treatment systemsStrong communication skills and ability to work with management and customers as neededWhat We Offer:Competitive pay based on experienceSupportive and professional work environmentHolidays, Vacation, Paid LunchJOB IS LOCATED IN HODGKINS, IL
