Job Description
CGI is seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Platform Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-wide Generative AI platforms within a highly regulated Financial Services environment. This role will focus on the operational support, integration, optimization, and governance of AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, and related Large Language Model (LLM) ecosystems deployed across cloud-first infrastructure environments, including AWS.
This role is located at a client site in Plano, TX; Reston, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will work closely with infrastructure, security, cloud, and business teams to enable secure and scalable AI adoption across the enterprise. Responsibilities include troubleshooting AI platform issues, managing enterprise integrations and connectors, supporting AI-driven automation workflows, monitoring usage and cost metrics, and delivering executive-level reporting and optimization recommendations.
This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, enterprise support experience, cloud integration knowledge, and stakeholder communication skills. The successful candidate will help drive AI enablement initiatives while ensuring compliance, governance, operational efficiency, and business value realization from enterprise AI investments.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise AI platforms, cloud technologies, enterprise integrations, or operational support environments
Hands-on experience supporting Enterprise AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, and Copilot Studio
Strong understanding of enterprise LLM ecosystems, AI operations, and user enablement within large-scale organizations
Ability to analyze AI usage metrics, token consumption, adoption trends, and operational costs to drive optimization efforts
Understanding of AI agents, workflow automation, prompt optimization, and enterprise AI governance practices
Experience integrating AI platforms with Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Knowledge of secure connector integrations, APIs, OAuth, SSO, RBAC, and enterprise identity/security frameworks
Experience creating dashboards, executive reporting, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS, along with exposure to Azure or Google Cloud platforms
Basic scripting or automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
Strong troubleshooting and operational support background in enterprise environments
Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to support training sessions, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration
Desired Skillset
Relevant cloud or AI certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft AI Engineer Associate, or related certifications are preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field required.
Compensation & Benefits
CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for the role. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,300.00 - $154,300.00.
