About the Role The PD&AS/Project Solutions Manager oversees the Power Distribution & Automation Solutions division within the New England states, ensuring the successful execution of engineered solutions, project support, technical services, and customer engagement. This role provides leadership to the PD&AS team, manages vendor relationships, and drives operational excellence while supporting sales growth across all power distribution and automation product categories. What You'll Do: Lead and manage the PD&AS team, including project managers, specialists, and technical staff. Oversee all PD&AS projects from design through delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction. Serve as the subject matter expert for power distribution, automation, switchgear, controls, and related engineered solutions. Provide advanced technical support to sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders. Review project specifications, plans, and requirements to determine appropriate solutions and offerings. Manage vendor relationships, secure pricing, and coordinate with manufacturing partners to support project needs. Ensure timely and accurate submittals, quotations, bill of materials, and project documentation. Develop and manage the project budget while allocating resources to effectively support sales objectives. Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability and alignment with financial goals. Work closely with sales leadership to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and support revenue growth. Forecast workload and allocate resources to ensure efficiency and coverage across all active projects. Maintain strong communication with customers, contractors, engineers, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor industry trends, technology advancements, and competitive insights to guide team development and strategic planning. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in electrical distribution, power systems, automation, or engineered solutions. Strong understanding of power distribution equipment, automation systems, switchgear, and controls. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and oversee complex technical projects. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications, and engineering documents. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience working with manufacturers, representing products, and supporting quoting and project workflows. Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP/quoting systems is a plus.
