Sterile Processing Tech Location: Salem, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,335 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (15:00 - 23:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years previous sterile processing experience required License: Certification required at hire and maintained Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT Must-Have: Must be certified, have a rating of 3 or above in Robotics, and have experience in a Level II Trauma or similar facility Description: Swing shift with weekend rotations. Must be certified and have a rating of 3 or above in Robotics. Experience in a Level II Trauma or similar facility is required. The Sterile Processing Tech I cleans, prepares, sterilizes, and stores instruments from across the system. The tech also prepares case carts for the operating room. This position primarily works in decontamination and rarely assembles trays. The sterile processing department serves multiple surgical operating rooms, labor and delivery, a catheterization lab, and various clinics. There is a need to work with multiple vendors for tray instruments. This position requires knowledge of instruments and sterilization procedures. The role involves manual cleaning and proper selection of wrapping materials. Experience with different types of scopes is required. Knowledge in various surgical specialties is essential.
