General Manager - HHG Moves

We are hiring a General Manager in Dallas, TX to lead high-performing operations within the moving and relocation sector. This senior leadership role will oversee multi-site operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure best-in-class service delivery across household goods (HHG) and office & industrial (O&I) relocations. Ideal for a results-driven leader with deep industry expertise and a strong operational mindset.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership across all branch and terminal operations within the Dallas marketOversee end-to-end execution of HHG and O&I relocations, ensuring service excellenceDrive revenue growth, profitability, and cost control across all operational unitsLead, mentor, and develop operations managers, supervisors, and frontline staffEstablish and monitor KPIs, budgets, and financial performance metricsEnsure full compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policiesOversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and storage solutionsManage fleet operations, maintenance programs, and asset utilizationPartner with sales teams to support business development and client retentionHandle high-level client relationships and resolve complex service issuesImplement scalable processes and continuous improvement initiativesLead workforce planning, recruitment, and training strategiesKey Skills & Experience:Extensive experience in the moving and relocation industry (HHG and/or O&I required)Proven leadership experience in a senior operations or general management roleStrong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&LIn-depth knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operationsExpertise in DOT compliance, safety regulations, and risk managementExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
