Job DescriptionThe Data Modeler - Emissions Reduction Program Analyst will join our Upstream - Unconventional - Permian Business Unit's Sustainability Team. This position supports the organization's emissions reduction initiatives by analyzing large datasets and creating informative dashboards that drive decision-making. The role administratively reports to a Permian Sustainability manager while receiving work direction from multiple stakeholders including Permian Sustainability Manager and Supervisors. The position interfaces with Houston-based GO&S emissions calculations team, Global Projects, Data Analytics, and EMIT teams. This position can be based in Midland or Houston with occasional travel to Midland (every other month).ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain dashboards that pull information from various data sources to support emissions reduction initiativesAnalyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights related to emissions and sustainability metricsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data visualization solutionsSupport the integration of data between different systems by leveraging existing APIsProvide data analysis expertise to support emissions estimation and reportingAssist with surface facilities and power systems data monitoring and analysisPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organizationMaintain data quality and integrity throughout analytical processesStay current on industry trends and best practices in sustainability metrics and reportingSkills and Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of data analysis experience, including handling large datasetsProficiency in coding PowerBI scripts, Tableau, Spotfire, or similar tools to create dashboardsFamiliarity with/skills in Siteview, ProCount, and/or SAPTechnical background on implementation of APIs to merge data between different systemsExperience with or knowledge of surface facilities, emissions estimation, and power systems preferredStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fieldAbility to travel to Midland occasionally (approximately every other month)Experience in oil and gas industry preferred Job Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday Location: Houston, TX OR Midland, TX Pay: $120/hr #LI-MO1
