Tool Crib Project Support Manager

Position Summary:Seeking a motivated and organized Crib Operations Supervisor to support the day-to-day activities of our tool crib team and assist in the execution of crib relocation and storage projects during a facility transformation. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop project management skills, strengthen leadership abilities, and gain experience in supply chain management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of Crib 88, Crib 95, and off-site cribs.Plan and execute crib storage and relocation projects.Supervise crib attendants, including performance evaluation and employee development.Conduct training sessions for new crib attendants using a standardized training matrix.Manage safety processes and report safety incidents, assisting in root cause resolution.Ensure accuracy of training records for equipment operation (cranes, order pickers, forklifts).Regularly review and update crib standard operating procedures in collaboration with the Crib Manager.Plan material storage to optimize pick efficiency and ensure inventory accuracy (FIFO, bin location plans).Resolve disbursement and receiving issues, obtain proof of delivery, and manage delivery grievances.Execute expedites and couriers for urgent material needs.Conduct cycle counts and bi-annual inventory audits.Communicate with facility staff, supervisors, and team leads to address material requests and resolve issues.Report daily updates to the Crib Manager and escalate urgent matters when necessary.Complete special tasks and projects assigned by the Crib Manager or Facilities Engineering Factory Manager.Utilize Microsoft Teams and Excel for daily reporting and planning.Work Environment:Office and tool crib/warehouse settings.Travel required to off-site warehouse locations within Lafayette. Reporting to the main plant first is mandatory.Candidate Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.Experience:2-4 years of experience managing employees in a warehouse or industrial setting.Technical Skills (Required):Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLookup, advanced formulas).Microsoft PowerPoint experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Valid driver’s license.Technical Skills (Desired):Experience with SQL query, Microsoft Power Query.Familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.Forklift or industrial vehicle experience; willingness to drive a 20-ft box truck (non-CDL).Soft Skills (Required):Self-starter with excellent decision-making abilities.Ability to take thorough meeting notes and communicate with employees at all levels.Strong organizational skills, task prioritization, and deadline management.Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.Soft Skills (Desired):Experience managing a team of 10+ employees.Experience with warehouse relocation or setup projects.Familiarity with logistics, trucking, and spare parts management.Compensation, Benefits and AncillariesCompensationThis is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $32 - $35 (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).Benefits and AncillariesMedical, dental, vision, PTO benefits and ancillaries may be available for eligible Aditi Consulting employees and vary based on the plan options selected by the employee.Aditi Consulting LLC uses AI technology to engage candidates during the sourcing process.
