Job DescriptionPosition: Automotive Working Technician & Technical Foreman / Shop LeadWe’re looking for a hands-on leader who’s ready to turn wrenches AND lead a team. As our Technical Foreman & Shop Lead, you’ll oversee day-to-day shop production, guide and grow our talented technicians and service writers, and set the standard for quality and customer care.This is not just a job—it’s a leadership role where your ability to coach, inspire, and lead by example will shape the culture and success of our growing company. You’ll work closely with our Technical Director to ensure we hit our goals without ever compromising on service quality.What You’ll DoLead & Mentor: Inspire, coach, and grow a team of technicians and service advisors across multiple locations.Ensure Quality & Efficiency: Oversee shop operations, monitor performance metrics, and maintain the highest repair standards.Deliver Customer Excellence: Set the tone for world-class customer service at every touchpoint.Flagging: You will be responsible for a certain number of actually flagging a minimum of 35 repair hours.Strategic Growth: Collaborate with leadership on business expansion, new shop openings, and process improvements.Train & Develop: Implement ongoing training programs to elevate your team’s skills and career paths.Financial Performance: Partner with management to optimize profitability and set your team up for success.Multi-Location Collaberation: Ensure consistent standards across our Irvine and Costa Mesa facilities.What We Offer💰 Compensation: $100,000 – $250,000/year (Salary + Commission + 20% bonus on flagged hours)📆 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (occasional Saturday support)🛠 Tools & Training: Dealer-level diagnostic equipment (ISTA, AIR, VIDA, Xentry) + paid training & certifications🏥 Full Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance💼 401(k) with Employer Fund🍼 Paid Time Off & Parental Leave🎓 Tuition Reimbursement & Career Development🛒 Employee Discounts🎉 Supportive, drama-free, family-style cultureWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of automotive technician or management experience (Euro experience a plus, but not required)ASE certifications preferred (not mandatory)Strong leadership and coaching skills with a servant-leader mindsetProven record of hitting operational and financial goalsTeam-oriented, motivated, and customer-focusedStable work history (no more than 3 jobs in the last 5 years preferred)💵 $1,000 Referral BonusKnow a great technician or service writer?
