Key Responsibilities:Provide urological testing and related urinary care services to patients with lower urinary tract disorders on an inpatient and outpatient basisApply the nursing process to assess and care for adult and geriatric urology patientsPrepare patients for urological procedures through education, obtaining lab work, and initiating venous access as neededExplain procedures and provide age-appropriate pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions to patients and their familiesAdminister medications and treatments as ordered by physiciansAssist physicians with urological examinations, specimen collections, and venipunctureMonitor patients during and after procedures, reporting changes in condition and aiding in emergency measures as requiredMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policiesPractice proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policiesMaintain supplies and equipment specific to the urology practiceProvide emotional support and facilitate coping for patients and families living with urological conditionsSchedule -Shift: 8-hour Day Shift (approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday through FridayDuration: 13 weeks (05/18/2026 – 08/15/2026)Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekOvertime: Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier); Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)On-Call: NoKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Must-Have Skills:-Minimum 2 years of recent experience within urology or related specialtyActive RN license in the State of Georgia or valid eNLC compact multi-state licenseAHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – requiredAHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification – requiredExperience providing urological testing and related urinary care servicesStrong patient assessment, education, and communication skillsEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursingLicensure/Certification:-Active RN license in the State of Georgia or valid eNLC compact multi-state license – requiredAHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – requiredAHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – requiredNational Certification in Clinical Specialty (e.g., CURN) – preferredExperience:-Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RN post-orientation or post-residency training – requiredExperience in urology, medical-surgical, or outpatient clinic setting strongly preferredExperience providing urological testing and related urinary care services to patients with lower urinary tract disordersSkills:-Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent patient education and communication skillsAbility to work independently in an outpatient specialty practiceProficiency in venipuncture and IV initiationCommitment to patient safety and infection controlBasic mathematical skills for medication calculationsOur client is a leading Consulting Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
