Junior Technical Project Manager (TPM)Location: Englewood, CO (Hybrid–4 days onsite)Duration: Long-term contract (up to 2 years, with potential for conversion)Pay range: $30-32/hrOverviewOur client is seeking a Junior Technical Project Manager (TPM) to support fast-paced engineering and product initiatives across cloud, cable, and syndication programs. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with strong operational and communication skills who are interested in growing into a technical project management career.This team operates in a high-impact, global environment (partnering with U.S., UK, and Italy teams) and is looking for someone who can take initiative, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams - even without deep prior technical experience.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport delivery of technical projects across areas such as cloud deployments, syndication, and product rolloutsPartner closely with engineering teams to coordinate day-to-day project executionAssist with project tracking, timelines, status reporting, and stakeholder communicationParticipate in and eventually help run technical meetings and project updatesContribute to deployment activities and operational coordination across teamsSupport Agile processes:o Create and manage JIRA ticketso Assist with sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and progress trackingo Help move work from to-do→in progress→doneBuild and maintain executive-ready presentations (PowerPoint) and communicationsDrive change management efforts, including communications and team adoption strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and learn from peers in a distributed environmentRequired Skills & ExperienceWork experience within a professional environment (operations, customer service, retail management, service industry, education, military, corporate, nonprofit, etc.)Demonstrated experience with managing operations, coordinating tasks, or leading initiativesStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervisionProven ability to ask questions, seek clarity,and problem-solve throughambiguityConfidence to engage with and push back appropriately withstakeholders (including technical teams)Basic proficiency in:o Microsoft PowerPoint (or similar presentation tools)o General business tools(Excel, Teams, etc.)Interest in technology and willingness to learn technical conceptsNice-to-Have SkillsExposure to JIRA or Agile environmentsExperience supporting engineering or technical teamsBackground in project coordination, operations management, or team leadershipFamiliarity with cloud, telecom, or product deployment environmentsExperience with communications, training, or change management initiativesDesign skills (e.g., Canva, presentation design) are a plusWhat Success Looks LikeQuickly ramps up by leveraging training and self-learning (especially JIRA and internal tools)Proactively identifies gaps, asks questions, and follows through to solutionsBuilds confidence working with technical teams in fast-paced environmentsEffectively partners with senior TPMs before taking on independent project ownershipDemonstrates strong ownership, organization, and accountability across multiple work streamsBecomes a reliable team resource for coordination, communication, and executionCandidate Profile (What We’re Really Looking For)Highly resourceful and self-driven—doesn’t wait to be told what to doComfortable operating in a “learn as you go” corporate environmentHas real-world experience managing people, processes, or operations (e.g., GM, teacher, team lead)Strong presence and confidence working with challenging stakeholdersNaturally curious about technical topics and motivated to learnThrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with limited oversightDisclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
