The Logistics Trailer Spotter - 3 works as part of a team operating a power single tractor spotting vehicle to stage and pull out up to 53’ hi-cube trailers of fenestration product. The Logistics Trailer Spotter - 3's assigned team and task will vary based on business necessity. Operator must meet and follow all DOT regulations. Location: Shenandoah, IA Pay Rate $24.90 + "2 shift diff 2nd shift Monday to Thursday 4:30 pm to 3 am OT on Fridays PELLA CORPORATION REQUIREMENTS: · Pass drug screen · Pass pre-work ability screen · High school diploma or equivalency · Pass pre-employment tests · Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner to team members and management · CDL - A Drivers License required ENVIRONMENT: · Outside weather conditions · Seasonal high and low temperatures and humidity · Moderate noise levels ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: · Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures · Regular/dependable attendance required · Abide by all DOT regulations · Ability and availability to work hours including overtime throughout the week and consistently work a Saturday overtime rotation · Able to work with and around moving equipment · Must have and maintain a valid CDL Driver’s license · Must be able to back equipment and trailers into close docks and through parking lots safely and efficiently · Must maintain a safe driving record · Pass a current Medical Examiners Certificate every 2 years as determined by DOT requirements · Pass random drug tests determined by D.O.T. requirements ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: · Ability to rotate to other positions as needed · Other duties may be assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: · DOT regulations experience is preferred · Job specific experience is preferred SKILLS AND TALENTS: · Able to work with minimal supervision · Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals · Time management PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Lift up to 100 lbs. at waist level and up to 70 lbs. at shoulder level up to an occasional basis when moving products · Push or pull with up to 100 lbs. of force up to an occasional basis when moving products · Generate up to 90 lbs. of grip strength up to an occasional basis with each hand while handling products · Generate up to 15 lbs. of pinch strength up to an occasional basis with each hand while handling products · Display average coordination with both hands up to a continuous basis while performing job tasks · Perform elevated work up to an occasional basis when handling products · Stoop, kneel or squat up to an occasional basis when handling products · Reach forward and to the side up to a frequent basis when handling products · Stand up to a continuous basis and walk up to a frequent basis during the course of each shift · Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per day Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $24.90 per hour Expected hours: No less than 12 per week Trucking Driver Type: Company driver Trucking Route: Local Application Question(s): Please, share your email to schedule a phone interview.
