Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Process Maintenance Technician to join our Turquoise Ridge operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenance.At Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world's most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Process Maintenance Supervisor, the Process Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenancePerform crushing and conveying maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to: cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers and several types and configurations of conveyor belting structures, both fixed and mobilePerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent safety and attendance record requiredMillwright, or similar, with welding and/or mechanical experience requiredHousekeeping standards are maintained to a high level requiredWilling to work in a team-based maintenance organization requiredDemonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision requiredAbility to work in adverse weather conditions requiredBasic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics requiredSkilled in mild steel cutting and position welding requiredAbility to lift at least fifty (50) pounds requiredExcellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills requiredAbility to perform the essential functions of this position requiredExperience with conveyors, chutes, crushers, rollers, pulleys, and bearings preferredExperience with preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens preferredUnderstanding of basic oil analysis, thermography and vibration analysis preferredUnderstanding of precision alignment techniques preferredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
