If your case faces administrative delays, we can leverage our experience with congressional assistance to get you back on track.Position: Immigration Paralegal (Part-Time, Remote, Independent Contractor)We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Immigration Paralegal to support our legal team in delivering high-quality immigration services. In this role, you will be instrumental in case management, document preparation, and client communication. Compensation commensurate with qualifications and work experience. Potential to become an employee after 9 months. Preference to WA & OR residents.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review legal documents, including non-immigrant petitions, green card applications, and citizenship formsManage case files and organize supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completenessConduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedural requirementsCommunicate with clients via email and phone to gather information and provide updatesEnsure all submissions comply with USCIS and relevant immigration regulationsAssist attorneys with case preparation and client meetingsQualificationsStrong knowledge of immigration law, with demonstrated experience in employment-based and family-based immigration casesExperience preparing and submitting USCIS and USDOS petitions/applicationsProficiency in legal document preparation and case file managementUnderstanding of immigration issues and processes, including requirements for status adjustments, maintaining legal permanent residence, defending RFEs, NOIDs and auditsExcellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skillsProfessional written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with clients and legal teamsProficiency in legal research tools and technologyParalegal certification or Bachelor's degree in a legal or related field1-2 years prior work experience in an immigration law firmBilingual proficiency in Spanish, French, or another language preferred
