These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed external visual inspections using microscopes to identify physical defects or inconsistenciesVerify device dimensions, markings, solder joints, lead bends, and overall package qualityMeasure device dimensions and lead geometry using calipers and other precision measurement toolsConduct external visual and pre-shipment inspections to meet internal and customer standardsOperate solder dipping equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality requirementsPerform solderability testing using solderability test machines to verify lead finish integrity and complianceOperate X-ray fluorescence (XRF) equipment to verify material composition and plating thicknessUtilize Odyssey and other test and inspection equipment to support quality and reliability evaluationsOperate environmental test equipment, including temperature, humidity, and thermal shock chambersLoad, unload, and monitor devices during testing while maintaining accurate documentationComplete basic electrical checks before and after environmental testsPrepare test hardware, load devices into handlers, and support production test operationsMaintain inspection records and update device status in computer systemsCollaborate with production and quality teams to resolve discrepanciesFollow cleanroom and electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety protocolsQualificationsStrong attention to detail and steady hand skills for microscope-based inspection requiredAbility to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and production documentation requiredBasic computer proficiency and communication skills requiredAbility to multitask and remain effective in fast-paced situations requiredHands-on experience operating solder dipping machines requiredExperience performing solderability testing using solderability test equipment requiredExperience handling semiconductor devices or electronic components preferredExperience using calipers and precision measurement tools strongly preferredExperience operating XRF, Odyssey, and other semiconductor test or inspection equipment strongly preferred5+ years' related semiconductor manufacturing, testing, or inspection experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to lift or move 510 lbs routinely requiredCompany BenefitsYou'll join a team known for precision, innovation, and reliability.
