Pipefitter Foreman

A well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to lead commercial and industrial projects in the Lansdale, PA area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the trade inside and out and takes pride in running organized, safe, and efficient jobs. If you’re a strong field leader who can manage crews, coordinate with project managers and other trades, and keep projects moving forward — we want to speak with you. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Managing field crews and assigning work effectively Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications (including coordination with other trades) Identifying conflicts and tracking changes for as-builts Planning and preparing for upcoming work Ordering materials, equipment, and scheduling labor in advance Coordinating subcontractors and vendors Communicating with project managers to maintain timelines and budgets Tracking manpower and documenting progress Supporting equipment startup and commissioning Conducting weekly toolbox talks and enforcing safety standards Training apprentices and journeymen What We’re Looking For: 5–15 years of field experience in commercial and industrial projects Strong knowledge of trade systems, equipment, installation, and code requirements Experience leading crews and managing field operations Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and electrical drawings for coordination OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Work Environment: This is an on-site role that may involve outdoor weather conditions, active construction environments, and physical field work including climbing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
