Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master’s Degree or 5 - 10+ years’ work experience in the wireless industry Solid understanding all technical problems in LTE Successful track record defining direction and providing specific instruction for engineering projects/programs leveraging personal knowledge and organizational skills to increase team efficiency, facilitate personal development and mentor colleagues. Demonstrated research and problem solving skills via prior work experience. Experience with wireless infrastructure provider and/or operator is desired. A solid understanding of RF fundamentals and data network protocols Strong technical knowledge of CDMA/EVDO and LTE/Volte/5G technologies Must have a strong work ethic, integrity and work extremely well in a team environment Must have an aptitude for creativity and innovation Advanced working knowledge of Base Station Vendor equipment (Samsung, Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson) • Strong interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Thorough understanding of different NR Architecture types and configurations, node and interface functions etc. Understand 3GPP standards release 15&16 radio features, enhancements and condense high level RF specifications into features and interworking between multiple technologies, compliance with 5G SA/NSA networks with use cases involving Embb, Mmtc and URLLC is required Good knowledge on wireless infrastructure architectures and air interface standards for NR/LTE and MAC layer and L1/L2/L3/X2 protocols, call flow and functions, QoS parameters Advanced understanding on existing and emerging concepts such as Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, New Waveforms, LTE-NR interworking and co-existence, DSS, 5G numerologies and use cases Experienced with different NR frequency bands for eg. Sub6 and Mmwave Experienced in 5G KPIs, functionality and counters and be able to propose Optimization ideas for improvement Experience with systems engineering activities such as feature requirements, launch, parameter optimization and observe and comprehend possible impact on NR KPIs Object oriented i.e. FIT/FOA/FFA test strategy, use cases and procedure writing and reporting attributes/format generation and agreement with customer Accountable for leading field integration testing efforts of all 4G/5G key features with customers, including test plan development, reviewing test plan with customers, driving cross-functional teams to execution, review of test results, issue identification and analysis and quality proofing until software acceptance is achieved. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate key technical concepts, ability to package complex ideas into logical, easy-to-follow progressions Must be knowledgeable about development tools Job Type: Contract Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
