🔍 Quality Engineer – Manufacturing📍 Salem, IN | Plant Environment💰 Salary Range: $77-$85kWe’re seeking a Quality Engineer to support plant quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and ensure products meet customer and regulatory standards.This is a hands-on role working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customers to improve processes and resolve quality issues.What You’ll Do • Support QMS, inspection systems, and process controls • Lead root cause analysis, 8D investigations, and corrective actions • Participate in APQP/NPI (FMEA, control plans, PPAP) • Monitor quality metrics using SPC and data analysis tools • Conduct internal/external audits and support customer quality issues • Collaborate on supplier quality, MRB, and nonconformance investigations • Train teams on quality tools and continuous improvement methodsWhat You Bring • 2+ years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) • Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and root cause analysis • Experience with CAD, metrology tools, or statistical software (Minitab a plus) • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and driving measurable quality improvements.📩 Interested in learning more?
