We are committed to sustainability practices that include recycling of cabling materials, reducing packaging waste, and implementing efficient installation methods to minimize environmental impact.About the Role:This position is responsible for working with and leading the onsite installation team to ensure project installation meets industry standards and specific design parameters set forth by the ComNet Design Team along with meeting project schedules and budget.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with management to provide proper staffing and necessary tools for projectCoordinate with the AV Project Manager for the requisition of materials in a timely manner and assist with the logistics and delivery of materials and equipment onsiteRecord serial numbers for all equipment and manage project's material inventory once onsiteTrack labor and material cost throughout the projectUtilize Daily Job Journals, Inventory, Forms and Communications Records to direct field personnel and ensure that schedules are metStay current with emerging technologiesProvide technical assistance to field personnelInform AV Project Manager and Design Team of any change to scope as it arises in the fieldInform AV Project Manager of any material or equipment failures requiring replacementPerform on-site inspections of local work locations on a daily basisProvide required field documentation including 'field drawings, cable certification reports and applicable warrantiesDevelop new subcontractor relationships; strengthen existing relationshipsOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalent3+ years' experience in the commercial audio video industryExtensive knowledge of commercial audio video installationAbility to read, analyze and decipher scopes of workAbility to read, analyze and decipher blueprints and line drawingsDevice/equipment programming and configuration skills (numerous manufacturers)Excellent oral and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal skillsSkill in directing the implementation of commercial audio video projectsAbility to lead people and obtain results through othersAbility to prioritize conflicting demandsAbility to train and direct othersAbility to work effectively with co-workers and customersValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to see things at close visionAbility to lift and/or move up to 10 poundsThe worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions while working or reviewing customer work locations.EEOThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee incumbent in this position.
