Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodway, TX, for a Diagnostician at Rapoport Academy. The Diagnostician will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the educational needs of students. Responsibilities include collaborating with teachers and staff to provide diagnostic and consultative services, creating and monitoring individualized education programs (IEPs), supporting compliance with state and federal special education regulations, and ensuring students receive appropriate resources and support to thrive academically. The Diagnostician will also assist in developing strategies to create inclusive learning environments for all students. Qualifications Strong ability to conduct educational and psychological assessments, including knowledge of standardized testing tools and protocol.Competence in analyzing data and writing detailed diagnostic reports with recommendations for support services.Proven skills in collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to special education, compliance, and service delivery.Exceptional organizational and time management skills to balance documentation, scheduling, and program monitoring.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and professionals.Master’s degree or higher in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or related field.Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification or eligibility to obtain certification.Experience in an educational setting, preferably as a Diagnostician or in special education services, is highly desirable.
