Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Canton, MA Type: Contract Compensation: $90.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance: Not specifiedOverviewLeave placeholder text here for recruiter to inputResponsibilitiesSupport complex data, analytics, and information management initiatives within the healthcare payer domain.Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions.Independently design and execute analyses, develop technical and functional documentation, support solution testing, and help resolve complex data and production issues.Collaborate with internal business and external vendor constituents to conduct analytic assignments in support of requested business solutions.Create technology roadmaps in support of business strategies with leadership across multiple departments.Ensure documentation of requirements, business rules, data standards, and technical specifications.Develop design recommendations to ensure compliance with architectural standards and data privacy regulations.Facilitate design reviews with governing committees.Plan, develop, and implement solution designs of significant scope and complexity, including application or extract program code, reports, and analytic findings.Develop and train IT and business personnel on testing strategies, plans, and scripts, and execute test procedures.Collaborate to maintain core reference domain content via master data management tools.Monitor core dataset quality to identify and resolve issues.Initiate and manage data remediation projects.Monitor production processes to achieve error-free standards and perform root cause analysis for issues.Develop SAS and/or SQL queries, Excel pivot tables, and other analytic tools for exploration and summarization.Conduct analyses supporting the identification of gaps, variations, and KPIs related to reimbursement trends.Critique analytic methodologies and demonstrate problem-solving skills.Develop documentation and methodologies for analyses and deliverables.Meet timelines and escalate risks as needed.Establish strong stakeholder relationships and interface collaboratively with stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.7+ years of data analysis experience within a healthcare payer environment.Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle skills, including developing complex queries and analytical solutions.5+ years of hands-on ETL and data engineering experience.5+ years of experience working with Teradata.7+ years of performing functional analysis, gap analysis, and business requirements definition.Experience developing technical specifications, analytical use cases, test cases, and test plans.Strong quality assurance, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
