Licensed Practical Nurse

Description of Duties: The Nursing Supervisor Task will include:Supervise eight staff. outside providers nd Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians, Consultants, Coordinate medical care for ten individuals. On-call requirement to respond via phone in-person to emergencies Provide technical support to non-licensed staff regarding healthcare services and medication administration including g-tube feeding & medication administration Training & Monitoring of non-medical staff on g-tube feeding & medication administration, Foley Catheter, and Colostomy Elag. Monitor record keeping/documentation for accuracy and detail.Perform monthly assessments of resident status. Development & review of Nursing Care Plans. Performs other related duties as assigned. ssists physician with.medication and evaluation clinics. Dispenses medication to clients as directed by physician. Oversees medical records of medication dispensed to clients. Serves as liaison for clients with community physicians and community mental health agency in providing services to clients. Maintains inventory of supplies and prescription drugs under direction of supervisor. Maintains inventory of supplies and prescription drugs under direction of supervisor. Observes cliehts receiving medicine and reports reactions to supervisor.
