Litigation Associate

Our Miami office seeks a talented Associate with 2+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience, preferred. Background in insurance defense, premise liability, construction, and other complex litigation a plus.Your Day-to-Day:Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discoveryAttend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlementsAssist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & ExcelCommunicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clientsAbility to work in a fast-paced, evolving environmentRequirements Previous experience in civil and commercial litigation is preferredStrong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacyAn intrinsic client-first approach, ensuring impeccable servicePrevious experience in insurance defense is an asset, though not mandatory.A hunger for growth, a customer-first mindset, and impeccable organizational skillsMember of Florida Bar in good standing, requiredBenefitsDiversity in Leadership: We are proud to be 36% minority-owned, with over 70% of our attorneys from diverse backgrounds.
