Job Description: We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Registered Nurse to join a high-impact inpatient team at an Indian Health Service (IHS) facility in Shiprock, NM. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment serving diverse and underserved communities. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state or territory) Required Certifications: BLS (AHA)ACLS (AHA)NRP (AAP)Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) Strong clinical skills in labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn care Valid Driver's license Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn units • Perform patient admission, assessment, and continuous fetal monitoring • Manage high-risk obstetric conditions (e.g., preeclampsia, fetal distress, hemorrhage) • Administer medications including oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, TXA, and blood products • Assist in labor, delivery, cesarean sections, and recovery care • Provide immediate newborn care, including resuscitation when required • Deliver postpartum couplet care, including maternal recovery and newborn assessments • Support Level I & Level II newborn care, including stabilization for transfer if needed • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes • Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery Federal contract in bidding processAbout Lumbee GroupLumbee Group Staffing Solutions is an Native American Indian Owned Business that provides trustworthy, reliable and competent Medical Professionals.
