The client is seeking a visionary leader for the position of Director of Early Childhood Partnerships and Innovation. This role involves spearheading cross-sector collaborations to elevate the city's profile in early childhood education and implementing systemic changes to enhance outcomes for children and families.
The Director will be responsible for building an educational ecosystem by partnering with diverse stakeholders, including families, school districts, and researchers, to ensure coordinated early childhood services. Strategic planning aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of these services will be part of the role, utilizing demonstration sites as benchmarks for success.
The Director will partner with policymakers to foster public policies that enhance early childhood education, impacting not just the local community but serving as a model for others.
Key responsibilities include strategic leadership and partnership development, where the Director will convene the Early Childhood Collaborative Advisory Committee for sustained engagement and alignment. The Director will cultivate relationships with funders, policymakers, and civic leaders to establish the client as a leader in early childhood education.
Collaboration with the Educare Learning Network will also be crucial for advancing a national advocacy agenda and amplifying visibility. The role includes milestone planning and aligning initiatives with the broader framework of the client to drive shared outcomes.
Additional responsibilities encompass research, advocacy, and public engagement, involving leading a Research-Program Partnership to promote continuous improvement among stakeholders. The Director will engage in data-driven advocacy efforts, facilitating research activities to inform public policy and increase investment in early childhood programs.
Innovation in program systems is another crucial area, with the Director tasked with co-creating solutions with stakeholders to enhance service delivery, resource alignment, and professional development for educators. Fundraising and grant management are also part of the role, including anticipating changes in the funding landscape and identifying risks and opportunities.
