Electrical Engineer
Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.US Citizenship Required. Active Secret Clearance Required. • Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.• Integrate electrical components and wiring into design while meeting vendor and OEM requirements.• Verify system configuration and block diagram.• Operate in a team environment with other functional areas providing input to design solutions and participate in design reviews.• Oversee Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, Harness assembly drawing, Circuit Breakers, and Electrical Loads Analysis. Coordinate Aircraft electrical mission equipment installations.• Identifying, documenting, and communicating significant design and integration risks for timely review and resolution.• Monitoring and reporting of aircraft installation design milestones and reporting status to project/program management.• Be self-directed, able to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives with minimal oversight.• Have excellent oral and written communications skills.• Possess strong interpersonal skills, work well within a design team and environment and be adept at interfacing with internal and external customers.Basic Qualifications:• Must be a U.S. Citizen.• Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to security investigations/reinstatements and must meet eligibility requirements.• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience with Bachelor's degree or minimum three (3) years of experience with advanced degree or minimum nine (9) years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.• Knowledge of AS50881 and / or MIL-STD-1472Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with aircraft and/or other technical system integration.• Knowledge of design and development processes with practical experience in multiple phases of the HW lifecycle: requirements, design, development, integration, validation/verification, and sustainment• Familiarity with FAA (Part 23 and 25) and military aircraft airworthiness design approach, certification process, and requirements• Progressive understanding of power systems and various mission systems• Proven experience working with manufacturing teams, vendors, and other suppliers to build cost-effective solutions.• Experience in electrical design tools (Visio, AutoCAD, Capital Harness, Catia)• Knowledge of AS50881 and MIL-STD-1472• Electrical Wiring Integration Systems (EWIS) standard• Able to investigate problems to the root cause and then champion the creation and implementation of corrective actions.• Experience with configuration management tools and processes• Ability to create appropriate development procedures, conduct effective design reviews and provide technical guidance to other members of development teams.• DO-160 or MIL-STD-810/MIL-STD-461, MIL-E-7016 and MIL-STD-704qualification.• Understanding of aircraft and mission power systems• Systems integration experience• Working knowledge of bidding and project/task estimation
